Do I need a referral letter from my GP?
Although we welcome patients who have not been referred by their GP, we would usually advise you to see your GP in the first instance to discuss the treatment you are considering. If you will be claiming under a medical insurance policy, please, if possible, check with your insurer before making an appointment.
Does it matter at which hospital I see the consultant?
If you are seeing us under a medical insurance scheme, you should contact your insurer for advice. Self-paying patients can be seen at either The Priory Hospital or may choose the location for each appointment to suit themselves and their individual consultant.
How long do I have to wait for an appointment?
Appointments are generally available in the same or next week from request.
How long will I have to wait for my procedure?
Gynaecological operations are usually best performed shortly after a period, but can usually be performed to suit your convenience from as soon as within 1 week.
